Analysis of common faults in automatic laser welding machines

1) The laser energy is insufficient, which can be solved by increasing the pulse width and current.

 

2) The defocus amount of the focusing mirror is incorrect, and the defocus amount should be adjusted to be close to the focus position (but there should be no splashes).

 

Fault 2: Cracks appear during laser welding machine welding

 

1) If the flow rate of protective gas is too high, it can be reduced to solve the problem.

 

2) The cooling speed of the workpiece is too fast, and the temperature of the cooling water on the fixture should be adjusted to increase the water temperature.

 

3) The workpiece was not cleaned thoroughly, and in this case, the workpiece needs to be cleaned again.

 

4) If the clearance between workpieces is too large or there are burrs, the machining accuracy of the workpiece should be improved.

 

Fault 3: The flame of the laser welding machine weakens during welding

 

1) Cooling water pollution or long-term failure to replace cooling water can be solved by replacing the cooling water and cleaning the UV filter glass tube and xenon lamp.

 

2) If the resonant cavity membrane of the focusing lens or laser is damaged or contaminated, it should be replaced or cleaned in a timely manner.

 

3) Main optical path laser offset, adjust the main optical path full reflection and semi reflection film, use image paper to check and adjust the circular light spot.

 

4) The laser does not output from the center of the copper nozzle below the focusing head. Adjust the 45 degree reflection film to output the laser from the center of the nozzle.

 

5) The shutter is not fully opened. Check and add lubricating oil to the shutter connector to ensure smooth mechanical operation.

 

Fault 4: The weld seam of the laser welding machine is very black during welding

 

1) The airflow direction of the protective gas is incorrect, and the airflow direction of the protective gas should be opposite to the movement direction of the workpiece.

 

2) The nitrogen is not turned on, just turn on the nitrogen to solve the problem.

 

Fault 4: High noise from the sports workbench, repeated welding and displacement

 

1) Adding lubricating oil to sports bearings;

 

2) Check whether the welding fixture is loose and the accuracy of the welded parts;

 

2) Check the accuracy of the motor;

 

Fault 5: Power on display "water pressure/level" fault

 

1) Open the water tank storage chamber to observe whether the water level is submerged in the water level sensor, and add it appropriately;

 

2) Check if the flow switch and signal line of the water tank are loose; Replace it;
